Love Awakened from Stone

“Love Awakened from Stone” A lesson in love, yet, so full of regret, Should its meaning be gone, unable to find resolve, Or, shall it presume to remain dead, for all seasons? A witness to such madness, still lingers its ill effects, Long after the pain has turned into consequence, Could such love prove to be, worth more than the circumstance? When, what from it came, defined the pure meaning of innocence, Demanding much love and guidance, came a beautiful gift, to be treasured, Was this to be lost, somewhere amidst the flagrant shuffles? Would obligations bring protest, or find great honor in such duty, Leading to such feelings of praise, found to be so very rewarding, Thus, therein lay a love, yielding great resonance, longing to be nurtured to grow and flourish.
