The World I Know
In the meaning we find a lesson,
In such beauty we find a song,
In between we find the privilege,
To live life full and long;
The ages teach us much history,
Riddled by mysteries left unsolved,
While, elders speak of intricate details,
Such wisdom, so few will ever know;
Seeing is so often distorted,
By tricks and slide of hands,
Making so very few things sacred,
That, many wonder just where to stand;
The world leaves us to ponder,
As life's thrills lead us to chance,
When time chooses to pull us under,
It is the spirit with whom we dance.
